Rocky Dirt Road Thru The Trees

This is based on a ref from the RUL that was used in one of the WDE's. Digitally painted in style of Oils on Canvas. Orig working size was appx 2400x3600 pxls at 200 ppi resolution. Impressionism.

I love the handling of the light here - the glow through the trees, the mix of shadows and brightly lit trunks... great stuff!

The light filtering through the trees makes this painting for me. The detail in the near brush and trees makes the viewer feel they are walking right into the scene. Nice painting job!

I like it Skylar, nice cool colors and nice balance of dark and lights. I'm not crazy about the cross hatching type strokes in the sky though. Nice piece.
