Johannes, the link is still up and in this post, so people will get frustrated unless you send them another Email. I don't know how you keep such a sharp eye on all this stuff. You haven't heard from me in awhile because everything has been going real well. Doug [Improv] got so frustrated that he has bowed out for awhile. I spotted him on Richard Robinson's site and will contact him when everything has settled down and try and get him to come back. Stu |

Did you do this in Photosop or did Johannes? It would be really great if Johannes took us through how to do this in Photoshop Elements or in Gimp during the paint along on Sunday. If you did this and not Johannes maybe you could post exactly how you do this for the slower learners (I am clearly in that group for photo editing). Stu |

i disagree stu.
i don't want to waste precious time with johannes learning how to use a computer program that you can learn elsewhere.
it is true that these photo editing programs are difficult to use in fact jo has mentioned a site where you can learn lynda.com maybe that will help?

I already know about Lynda.com. I am interested in how Johannes plans his compositions from multiple photo references and works out his changes and how they will look BEFORE he starts painting. I already know how to apply paint to the canvas and am interested in learning more about how he develops his vision of an interesting composition before the drawing and paint application. I can figure out the computer program. Stu |

Distant River did not post that I congratulated her on that composition because she did it perfectly well. That is exactly what I had in mind. Even that smaller waterfall in the distance. Now, so I work less Nancy, how about you do the drawing for me as well now that you are at it. LOL!
