Sassy, I'm curious about where you shot this from (hard for me to tell with the cropping). Wind surfing, etc., is huge here in Alameda, but I know they do quite a bit over by Crissy Field and down near Candlestick...and I think I've seen them over near Berkeley.
BTW, great shot!

This was taken from Crissy Field. That is one of my favorite spots in SF. Well, it is a toss up between Ft. Mason and Crissy I miss living near the ocean, but I love where I am now.

*sigh*
when I signed up for this I thought I'd have enough time - but alas, I don't.
I'll try, I just may be a little delayed uploading the first 5 or 6

This is an exceptional shot. The subject is interesting and makes one wonder about who's wearing the shoes. The lighting is beautiful and DOF is great and I love the BW.
Please post more of your work.

I like the composition of this piece and how it leads your eye into the distance.

This is amazing!! I would like to be there, too. It reminds me of the '3D viewer' photos I have. Excellent!

Is it too late for me to tune in on this? I am still learning my way around here, but I think I could manage it. How many images do I need to submit right away? (That might take me a few days!)
Are they all strictly photographs or can they be manipulations too?
I need the discipline of a project to keep me moving...it sounds great.
I am still not clear on uploading. I know I can upload 500x600 pixels. Do I drop the resolution to 72 or keep it at 300. (I will get better at this..)

Lea :
I wouldn't think its too late to tune in on this - I only uploaded my photos yesterday, so I think you've got time
As for photographs or manipulations? I've got both - and no-one's complained yet
All of my images have a maximum width of 500px - and the height is generally around 600px - if I have one in portrait format. As for pixels - I'm protective of my images - so I have them at 72dpi.
Hope this helps

Hi Carol,
click on the Projects on the tool bar above, then click on My Projects to the left, then click on the project you've signed up for, then you'll see upload finished images near the bottom of the page
Hope this helps
