Thank you! It always helps when the artist has a special connection to the subject matter. I just love my little dog!

Thank you! I wish I had more time to work on it right now, but things are starting to get hectic with my daughter's upcoming wedding (June 9).

I've been slowly, but surely working on this piece. It has been a terrible summer for me - for the past two months I've had nausea and headaches that come and go throughout the day - making me absolutely miserable. Needless to say, I haven't wanted to work on my art as much.

Anyhow....here is the latest update:

Glad you were able to do an update despite the tough time you are having with your health. This is just such a fun painting. I do hope that you will soon be feeling a lot better. Do you have an idea what is causing this discomfort?

I'm not totally sure what the problem is.....my husband is a family physician and he has seen quite a few people this summer with the same symptoms, but the blood test results are all negative. It's very strange!

moolane, I sincerely hope that you get to feeling better. I too have been sick this past spring and summer. My wife, a nurse, only knows that I went through this the spring and summer of last year.

I can't tell you how many times I visited the ENT's (and even the ER) the past 6-9 months with large ulcers in the area of my throat.. The ENT's have no idea what caused this.

Anyway.....enough of MY story, I love this drawing!!! The question we faithful followers of this thread have is NOT what paper you're using, but .....





did you give that poor dog your cookie? Trust me, doggies are such artists. He may just leave some artwork of his own around the house over this one.
