APRIL Watermedia Challenge: Glass or Reflections

It is now April first and that's no April Fool's joke! Glass or reflections, reflective surfaces such as water, mirrors, lakes, etc., are the subjects for us this month. Here are several photo references to stimulate your Spring creative juices to flow

RIL

Morgue File

My antique store colored glass

My antique store various colored glassware

My photo reflection in antique hutch mirror

My photo white cyclamen reflections

I have a few more to upload later, but go ahead and begin, or use your own reference with watermedia and post your work within this thread

Re: APRIL Watermedia Challenge: Glass or Reflections

Hi Kay-I would like to join in this month. Those refs are beautiful and I love the theme. Are there any rules about when to upload or do you just dive in.

Re: APRIL Watermedia Challenge: Glass or Reflections

I was debating where to post this piece I did recently as it is watercolour pencil and have posted here before I believe. It is 9x12 on Fabriano hot press. It is not one of your photos but one I took in a church in Kauai. I don't really have a reflection as the glass is stained, but wanted to show the sunlight effects.
C&C. Thanks for looking

I will do another piece to add to your challenge this month it looks like fun.

Suzanne, wow. I love the way you captured the look of the stained glass with light coming through it. That's so powerful. Well done!

Kay, thanks for adding two more rich and glorious photos. I love those colors!

Kaye, I remember these bottles, have been looking everywhere for the one I did for the WDE you posted this, but cannot find it, so will just paint it again.

Re: APRIL Watermedia Challenge: Glass or Reflections

Thanks Robert, and welcome Charri (my nephew married a gorgeous blue eyed blonde from S. Africa) we are so glad to have you join us. Bonnie, this glass slipper is too cool so where is Cinderella? I had lost those glass jars photos when Photoshop crashed but was able to find them for this, but barely.
