Uploader still doesn't work

Why does Wet Canvas make if so difficult for new members to participate? In spite of several posts over different days your uploader still won't work on either of my Mac computers. I have no trouble with my other sites. I guess I'll just give up and say - it's been nice knowing you, sort of.

It doesn't happen only to you...it happens to me many times. Please try again some other time. I hope moderators can read this and help you out. By the way welcome to the forum!

I just tried an experiment- I use Mozzilla Fiefox and recently experienced "Bad Request" on all my uploads.

Just went and got to WC via internet explorer and now can upload OK. It must be Mozilla with my computer (PC, not a Mac) that is the problem.

Yes, I had another member with a problem with Firefox. It works OK for me though.

Sorry you are having such a rough go with trying to show us your work.

I have a Mac and use Firefox and haven't experienced the problem with the Uploader that so many others have complained about. I'm not sure if it is the version of Firefox you may be using or something else????

You might try using the Attachment button below the window if the Uploader doesn't work. See if you can show us your work that way.

No you are not alone......I have been trying to upload pics for the past 2 years (I have been a member for around 10 yrs) without success there are many many people with this problem on this site but WC have refused to address the problem,they have been offered International experienced help but refused to take it on board....one word ARROGANCE.
I still come to the site but only rarely...I post on WC on Facebook with no problems at all plus other sites I use.

I sympathise Alan. I think the. Problem lies in the huge number of browser and operating system varieties there are out there.

I don't want to tempt fate but I rarely have any problem with Firefox.

I haven't read all the posts...but, I also had problems with uploading (using the paperclip icon). My solution: I use the Insert Image (blue picture frame icon). Works charmingly well . But use the image resizer (Yorky has very good instructions for that)...I believe you also need to use the image resizer with uploading. Hey, DON'T give up on Wet Canvas...Please! It's a wonderful experience! So, if the uploader doesn't work, use insert image! Here's an insert image post...I chose to use a smaller resize, because it is a miniature (a practice piece I made as an example from Julie Collins Painting Flowers with Impact....that I showed the technique to another WetCanvas friend). Work's okay for me!
