WDE May 4, snakesinatree, ember and mosh pit
had alot of fun with these, I have a gessoed failed WC setup for the cute pup as well
first I did the 9x12 ink and WC in my venzia sketchbook: one hour and a bit
have you ever seen snakes in a tree? maybe their summer home, I just had to set them up on the fungus!
I spent 2 hrs on Ember, what a gorgeous cat she is, 1/4 sheet WC
and finally when I saw this ref, I imagined the feather in a mosh pit at a rock concert, this took an hour 6x12 WC

Re: WDE May 4, snakesinatree, ember and mosh pit
Snakes like to hang out in the sun on highbush blueberry bushes overhanging the water hoping a bird will alight for some berries. Your snakes look perfectly comfortable where they are. Good idea to combine the two images. Love the cat and the feather caught in the mosh pit is lovely.

Feather in a mosh pit- that's a hoot! Very nice trio, and Ember is gorgeous indeed.

It looks like the cat is keeping a close eye on those snakes and the fungus makes a perfect bed for them. I love how the feather turned out in fact I love all three.

Re: WDE May 4, snakesinatree, ember and mosh pit
I really like all three for different reasons Bonnie - the first fun (and well drawn), the second a fantastic puss and then the dramatic and beautifully painted feather. Super
