Thank you all! I hope to have another update on this within the next couple of days. I seem to be lacking the motivation to want to sit down and work on it.

I finally had the motivation to work on this a little bit. I added a light ink wash in some areas to add some depth. I will be doing a few layers of scratching and inking before this is finished.

...and I was in the zone last night, and just kept going. Enter the ugly stage! This is where most of my pieces get put away, never to see the light of day again!

I had to take this picture indoors, because it has been rainy for the past few days... but I think it's clear enough for you to get an idea of where I'm at. I have started to work on his nose and collar. I think there will be a few layers of inking and scratching so I can get the desired depth.
