WDE 27 April - Lin's Tulip
Ive been exerimenting with Gouache, so thought I'd try a lively background behind the smoother tulip. Don't know whether it works or not but in the spirit of the WDE...
20cm x 25cm - Couache on watercolor paper

Such a lovely colour combination - and i like the way the leaves seem to have light shining on them.

It works well! The cool background makes the red poppy jump out of the picture. Nice gouache piece.
As you know, I too have been playing with gouache.
