*** Daily Wash Monday 7th May 2012 ***
Good morning all, another lovely morning here.
Nothing planned for today, looking forward to meeting Tommy (tommyjav) and his wife tomorrow for lunch.
Sorry about your bump Uschi, it's a sickening sound isn't it?

Re: *** Daily Wash Monday 7th May 2012 ***
Good evening Doug.
Labour Day holiday went ..... laboriously ... well can I just say we are both exhausted and so looking forward to work tomorrow that we ... actually Roger .... ironed stuff. My stuff doesn't need ironing just not scrumbling up. More Labour Day holidays needed methinks.
Massive pulling of weeds and laying them on the lawn (read tossing), then cartage of sugarcane mulch to place over the beds. then mowing up the lawn so that we could pant back and say " doesn't it look nice?" It does.
Also planted our jonquils and Dutch irises as they were sprouting in the crisper of the fridge.
Just the hard bits to go next weekend.
 BBL after dinner

Hi
Do you recognise who came to see our exhibition yesterday?
They were just looking at my painting Meh when we asked if they would mind us taking a photo. They happily agreed

Good Day All,
54 F and may rise to 64 with a chance of storms.
Ms. Feral was bad and disappeared for 36 hours. She's back for food and pets. I worried unnecessarily.
I was about two hours from finishing painting the deck yesterday when it started to rain. So, next dry day it will be finished. Then, paint the new balusters and install them.
Not sure what I'll do today.
Bill

Soooo, did they buy anything???????? They looked slightly familiar but since I don't watch their show I really didn't recognize them. Are they Torontonians?? You certainly had a great number of people coming through
Doug, now there is some excitement - meeting yet another one of our Washer friends
Caryl, wonderful photos in yesterday's wash, thanks!!! Sorry you were eaten alive.
Bill, she is a naughty girl Thank God she is fixed
Annie, enjoying your beautiful garden is worth all the hard work!!!
Geoff, your sleep pattern reminds me of my hip issue, good days, bad days, and I wish I knew what makes them "good" days so I could repeat it.
and wishing you all a good day!!

Uschi, like you (and Geoff) I wish I knew what that magic thing is... because I walk *funny*, I've put my lower back out and now I look like a doubled over penguin...
I was sure sorry to read about your car... and I'm glad you weren't hurt!
I didn't recognize the young men, Ona... but perhaps you could partner up with them to provide artwork for their makeovers!
everyone I've missed by name... I have to get ready for my Classes today and I'm moving a little slow... I sure hope that you all have the very best possible day!

Re: *** Daily Wash Monday 7th May 2012 ***
Ona i didmt recognise them but Eileen did.......I tend to avoid their type of makeover programmes....nothing against the Scots mind you Ona/Henry.......they were guests on a comedy programme last year and announced they had been together for 26years...which is a long time in any relationship these days.
Weather still fine and cold..went to Bishop Auckland shopping and like a ghost town on this Bank Holiday.....haedly a shop open.

Re: *** Daily Wash Monday 7th May 2012 ***
I am showered, breakfasted, exercised and now have to force myself to go to the collision place, I just hate doing that.
(((((((((((Char)))))))))) oh gosh, if it's not one thing it is another. I hope that back works itself out, if not, try the chiropracter.
I kind of had to chuckle because my artist neighbour pestered me last summer to go for walks with her and couldn't understand that I couldn't. Now, one year later, she has arthritis is her hip and walking isn't as joyful as it was before. She is now 61.
O.K. I guess I am off
