I heard about this missing journalist this morning on Radio. His family are distraught. It is totally out of character for him not to keep in touch. The only positive thing is that there is virtually no crime in the are where he went missing. I'm just passing it around - you never know!

My little three legged escape artist is doing well! We named her Jesse (my son did that is). They already adore each other. She is doing well. Definitely an inquisitive pup. Today is my work at home day and she is sitting by the window beside me looking out at the world. I will post pictures when I get a chance to take one.

An old mate of mine from school days, who flies for Cathay Pacific, is in Jozi tonight . He's happily married though so I guess we'll be behaving ourselves  . But will be great to see him

I presume she's able to get around okay, which leg is missing, I'm guessing front?

Kenny, maybe you could write a tractor dog story 
Its only just gone 7pm here, but I am physically and mentally exhausted today. Work is so busy. With those mares and foals still being in by night (from 3pm till 7.30am to be precise), the stables seem to be forever dirty and work is hard.
One mare and foal went home today and another one tomorrow. And, for once, I am happy to see them go  Kind of looking forward to some empty stables. This sounds incredibly bad, I know  And I do feel bad for thinking that way But I cant help it .....
I think I need some badly needed ME time.

There is a tractor dog story (from my growing up) but it doesn't end happily so not sure that one would work. I'll spare everyone the details.

No proper ME time till July at the earliest I am afraid You cant take time off during the main breeding season. Well, you can. But if you appreciate your job, your not going to.
If the weather would be nice, I'd take a half day off on a kind of quiet day and head to the wildlife park all by myself. But as it stands .... not holding my breath
