Post paint out

To Cheryl and any other plein air painters in North Florida:
DJ and I have discussed the idea of a couple of paintouts in Alachua or Marion County after the weather is cool. I was thinking of January or February. I am working through the summer out on location but it is hard to get a group together that early or late in the day. I'd like to do a session at Orange Lake in McIntosh, where I have painted alot. There is also alot of nice country up in the Branford/Live Oak area where DJ lives. What do you think Cheryl?

Linda & David, i am fine with the Live Oak area, though not too familiar with it. I will be on Vacation for the next 2 weeks or so but when i return i will make a day trip out of the Orange lake area & scout out something. I know of a couple of spots on the lake that are awsome. There is a place called Celebrity resorts that has some areas that would be very comfortable & Suitable for our needs. I definitley agree with waiting for the weather to cool off a bit! I know that it may be a bit of a drive for David, but the Silver River (in Silver Springs) is incredible too. It's where they filmed the Tarzan movies & Sea Hunt. Very jungle like. Just some ideas...But i will investigate Orange lake soon

Hi Cheryl,
I paint alot up on the hill overlooking Orange Lake. I like the tall, tall palms up there. Any view is fine for me and any venue.
We have plenty of time.
