Re: May showcase
Hi Everyone...here is a little pendant I made with the Faux Dicro technique...white core bead, silver foil, transparent greens, raku spirals...Reminds me of the Beatles song...Octopuses Garden.
Rebecca...yummo...those cupcakes are very cute.
Leslie...congrats on the sales...whoot whoot!
This tuesday, we pick up our star beads from 2 weeks ago....if any turned out decent I'll show them....this week we are doing tree frog beads....fun. I need the stringer control practice.

Re: May showcase
Diane,
I failed to expain something when I told you about copper and brass....the copper looks great with cool color beads. A friend made me a bracelet with blues and greens with copper and I always get compliments on it. If I wasn't image impaired, I'm post a pic. I also have a purple bracelet done with copper but I don't think it is as attractive. I think the purple is too warm for the copper.
Hope that helps.
I love silver too, but lots of people can't afford it now and there are good options out there if you look.
Best,
ginger

Re: May showcase
Great beads keep them coming!
I made some reactive COE 90 Murrini last week. I made this test bead to see what they would do.Test bead s are so ugly you just kind of have to love them like a spotted pup.
I just stuck them all over the bead encase not encased reduced the raised ones they have the lustre glass in them. The shine doesn't show well in this picture. I think my fovorite is the blue ones and then the brown
I like to test them and see what they are going to do before I use or sell them. This is so big it's like looking at them with a microscope.
forgive the bubbles it's just a test bead and at this size well any tiny bubble will look huge
Now I need to use them on a pretty bead

Re: May showcase
Belinda - are you kidding? I feel like I could go for a walk right into those beads. The depth amazes me. Nicely done.
Here is a disk necklace that was a special order for a customer.
