Nana hung the Moon

Acrylic on canvas. I painted this for my grandson, I have always taken him outside and shown him them moon since he was a baby, and told him Nana hung the moon just for him.

Re: Nana hung the Moon

That is a great gift for your grandson. I am sure he was delighted. Super strong colours. Like the little story behind this work.

Thank you Chammi. He is 7 now, and still calls it Nana's moon. Notice also that I signed the painting Nana. That is the only painting signed like that.

I like the story and sentiment of the whole painting. It is a memory that will be carried for a lifetime. Does it get any better than that!
