Re: The Plant Parade, a forum Project: May 2012

Yes everyone - The countdown has begun and tomorrow 25th looms!

Somebody commented, last PP, that it must take courage to be the first to post. I'm usually ok with it, but this time I must admit I'm totally unsure of your reaction, so I may wimp out before tomorrow. Oh what the heck, I'll just post anyway. Meryl, where are you hiding??? Goodluck for tomorrow all!

Re: The Plant Parade, a forum Project: May 2012

You dont have to worry Viv, Please excuse me for posting early but I have to leave for an all day training course at daybreak tomorrow and am staying the weekend , so its now or never.
Im uncertain I hit the mark either, but hey what the hell all good practice.
All acrylic, 8x5 cm canvas pad.

1 ..... iffy
2... think Im getting in the mode
3... had great fun with this, using impasto and all shades mixed with metallic base. I think with a larger canvas it would really make a statement in the right setting.

OK batting up!!!

Ill be checking in on you all.... tarahh

Well of course EP, there's no rule that says it must be in colour!

It is down to the wire now...hope everyone will be ready.

Meggs - Wow!!!! And 3 beauties no less!!! All of them are lovely but that first "iffy" one really is stunning! I love the rich color and the swirly accents. I hope the rest of us can measure up to the standard you have just set.
