Re: The Plant Parade, a forum Project: May 2012
Elaine is right. . .the 25th cometh!! If today is the 23rd in Texas, it is the 24th Down Under and parts that direction!! So, it is really close for you artists there!! Can hardly wait!!!!
Elaine, glad you liked the stretch!! Shar, I KNOW that you will finish your beauty. . .remember, you have until the end of the month, if you need the extra time!
Off to bed. . .will try to dream of a BOP in AN. . .what wonderful colors it will be with lots of twists and turns!!
Hugs, Katherine

Re: The Plant Parade, a forum Project: May 2012
Did another one last night, but it's rubbish. Not sure if I will show that one. I like the idea I had ( I based it on a fresco at Heculeneum sp? which we visited last mont) then decided to do it in Pitt marker pens, which I have had for along time and never used - big mistake. Can't erase UGH! I also only have 4 colours so a bit limited there.

marionh, I would very much like to see it. I did mine with copic markers, and I am interested in seeing art done with markers. So if you could bring yourself to showing it...

Jean - Good to see you...great news about a grandbaby!
I finished my piece and I even like it!!! My hubby says it looks like the cover of a greeting card...I guess that's good. Can't wait to see what everyone posts.

Re: The Plant Parade, a forum Project: May 2012
Oh boy, this is an active forum. I've been quietly painting away on my lonesome and finally finished . I'm really looking forward to the curtain raising on this one. Does everyone wait until the stroke of midnight when the hour glass trickles down - or just sleep in and post at their leisure - or wait til Viv posts hers then a mad scramble .
