My Deepest Apologies...

I am so very sorry if I have caused any members of the Darkroom any concern or unease about the thread I posted called "hypospadias". It just never in a million years occurred to me that they could be misconstrued as pornography. It is something my daughter and I live with every day with my grandson Phoenix.

My thanks also to llis who was so tactful and nice about this issue. I appreciate her wisdom in the way she dealt with my unthoughtfulness. And to Sunny who sent me a truly lovely PM:

So I'll just say - if anybody here wants some info on hypospadias or if I can answer any questions, I will be more than happy to provide you with whatever I can - this is a terrible affliction for a child to be born with and it will affect Phoenix physically and emotionally for the rest of his days and if I can help some other grandma or mama to deal with it, I am most happy to help in whatever way I can.

Aren't you a dear.. And not at all simple!LOL!!! Be careful what you wish for-as they say, you might get it!
God bless your little Phoenix and remember that all the terrible things that happened in your life might be regrettable but they are the fire that made you strong. Phoenix may have to deal with this all his life but will probably grow up to be a very wonderful young man with an understanding heart like you and a fortitude to take what life deals out!

Don't worry 'bout it, Sue. You know we all understand your meaning, and your heart. Your baby boy is in our thoughts and prayers. Please do keep us updated on his condition, okay?

And I wouldn't worry overly much about his emotional state in the future. I believe that children can grow up to overcome absolutely anything, as long as they're surrounded with acceptance and love. If his parents are anything like his grandma, he'll be just fine.
