Cairn terrier

Hi this a drawing i have been working on over the last few days, its of a friends cairn terrier Tilly. I am just about finished( i think) just need to tidy a few bits up under her chin area.

Its only my 3rd attempt at fur so still feel iam struggling with it slightly, any tips would be great.. and your overall thoughts on the drawing, good or bad would be welcome. Thanks

Lee

Re: Cairn terrier

Hi Lee ... I think the fur is quite good ... however, it's too white. I think it's best to leave the whitest whites for the eyes and tone everything else down ... so I'd suggest using 6H or 4H and darken the white fur somewhat also make it blend in with the underlying fur value better.

Re: Cairn terrier

I just love this one Lee, the texture & toning of the nose and eyes really brings the dog to life. Great Job Well Done!!!
