Just posted this to see if the uploader is working.
Maybe they fixed it.
Hope you all have success and post lots of pictures today.

Re: Shutterbug Daily, Tuesday, April 24 2012
Good morning. That's a beautiful photo Lorell!
I've had a busy day already.
We fenced a large area for our dogs yesterday and they are ecstatic though Zeus ripped off his dewclaw, poor guy.
We also had the surveyors come because our neighbor kept claiming more and more of our yard. He's not going to be happy when he comes home because apparently we own not only the part of our yard he claimed but a good part of his yard as well which makes me happy in a thoroughly petty way. I've already admonished myself and will remember to use my manners when speaking to him no matter how tempting the chance to be a smart aleck is.
Sammy was having fun chasing bubbles today. Zeus ignores them but Sampson loves them.
Hope the uploader works for you soon, Greg!
Have a good day all

That 2nd pup pic is hilarious! I wish my dog would chase bubbles. He is 2 and he only began to play fetch this month, thought he'd never learn. Maybe I will try for some funny fetch pics tonight, if he is in the mood.

MissMeanGreen and Virginia,
Great canine shots, all of them.
Virginia,
We are getting to know Sammy, he doesn't like water, only goes out in the rain if he has his raincoat on and likes chasing bubbles.
Our boxer liked breaking balloons.
MissMeanGreen,
Pretty doggie.
What's his name? Did you get it as a pup? I bet its puppy pictures are cute.
This is a nice portrait of him with the curved body leading to the focal point, the head and specifically his LEFT eye! OMG, this is good. This is a great example of the fibonacci effect, right? Hey, I am starting to think like a photographer.

missmeangreen, what an adorable mountain of fur
vmrs, I always cringe when I read about a dog ripping or injuring its dewclaw. I don't know if it hurts as nastily s I imagine it does, though. The soap bubble pics are hilarious
some moss from me:

Re: Shutterbug Daily, Tuesday, April 24 2012
@ Luv2shoot - My dog's name is Krieg. He was 7 months old when we got him and about the size of a small lab. I didn't even have a camera at the time. I did get one when he was about 9 months old and here is a pic of him in the garage, which is now his dog house. I will have to read about The Fibonacci Effect.
That moss reminds me of the stuff we sleep on when camping.

Re: Shutterbug Daily, Tuesday, April 24 2012
Wow, that moss is so crisp!
Zeus didn't even notice it came out, so I don't think it hurt him. Everytime he does it the vet says, maybe this time it won't grow back but it always does.
I'm having trouble getting good photos of Sampson in the daylight, he is so bright white, it glares in the sun. I lose all the midtones.
Kreig is adorable, I had a black newfie/collie/dane/cow mix and his face kind of looked like a Pryenees. He was a big guy too. But he was the best behaved dog I ever had.
This is Max and Kitten. She adored that dog. This photo is from 2002.

Re: Shutterbug Daily, Tuesday, April 24 2012
Seems to have turned into a doggy day.
Heidi- waiting for the squirrel to come down out of the tree
Silver analyzing whether to jump off the doghouse
and attack the big borer bees
(they live in the doghouse)
on squirrel watch
also the the third line of defense in case the squirrel geets by the first two,
this is Peaches
one on the arm of the sofa,
one on the lap
and one on the side
...oh and me in the middle working all three hands to keep them happy
uploader likes me again apparently...
life is good

Re: Shutterbug Daily, Tuesday, April 24 2012
Well we have great photo's of dogs today ...love the bubble chaser and the marco image of the moss is beautiful! Today I toured Savanna Wildlife Refuge, a very bright and windy visit but did mange to get my croc pic ..it's a baby but a crocodile non the less! Also took some bird pics, I'm not savvy in the bird department but I believe on is a bluse heron and not sure of the little black one.

Re: Shutterbug Daily, Tuesday, April 24 2012
forgot to mention...my dogs ignore anything that is not food...they look at bubbles, they watch sticks go flying by, balls are just an annoyance, but diesel trucks, kids on bikes, and critters all get their attention, as does anyone daring to walk past their part of the street.... very loud.
and they will ignore everything else if there is food being cooked in the kitchen, they just sit and stare and drool....

Re: Shutterbug Daily, Tuesday, April 24 2012
Zeus and Fuzzy (my other black cat) are the food watchers, Sampson hardly eats at all (he will do anything for a Milkbone though), and Kitten will not eat anything except the one kind of hard food.
Greg your dogs are so cute! Those squirrel photos are so sharp, you can see the personality of each. I really like the one of all of you together, that looks like my house.
I think that is a comorant too, it's definitely a blue heron and that croc and the two in the black bird photo are too close for comfort! Crocs give me the chills but I love looking at them.
Hope everyone has a good night!

Love the dog pics. (We have a Westie too, plus a mixed-breed shelter dog.)
Great Blue Heron is correct - they're magnificent birds. As for the dark bird, Cormorant would be my guess too; mostly because the stance with wings spread to catch the sun is characteristic of a Cormorant.
