Smile Monthly PEN & INK Project -- April, 2012

Monthly Pen & Ink Project -- April, 2012.

Hi Everyone,

The following are the Images for our Monthly P&I Project, and I hope lots of you will join in and have some fun with all of us during the month.

Rules For The Monthly P&I Project:-

1) Use one or more of the photos.

2) Credit the Photographer of the photo(s) in your first post. They are listed in the first post each month.

3) Drawings may be any size, as small or as large as you like.

4) You may choose to pen in all black, all monochrome, or coloured penwork. If you wish you may also use a wash of Watercolours or Coloured Pencils etc. Entirely your choice, as long as Pen and Ink is a major contribution.

5) Cropping, combining, adding, subtracting to the work is all allowed.

6) All drawings from these Images must be posted in this Thread -- do not start a new one.

7) Create a beautiful piece of artwork for us all to enjoy, and most of all, have fun.

Val.

Great set of photos as usual. Very challenging again, looking forward to seeing how others will interpret these.

You have NO idea how excited I am to see the zebras! My work of 100 zebras has been sitting giving me guilty looks for the winter months and now, here, zebras! I have official word from the zebras which control my inks that I may, again, indulge in drawing zebras!

Okay.... once I got started I couldn't stop.
Here are 2 zebras by oldrockchick
It's on 5x7 Mi-Teintes Steel Gray Paper
I used Pitt Pens and for white, Pentel Sunburst Med Gel (If anyone knows of a finer tip white pen please let me know. This one is .08.)

Sandra -- You are off to a quick start. Thanks so much for posting.

Sheila -- I love your Zebras, and it shows a different perspective with them penned on Steel Gray paper, and using white for the white stripes. Unfortunately I don't know of a smaller white pen, as I am having the same problem as you. Great work.

Val.

Sandra, nice job and you are very quick to draw this month
