AAWWww... I just love the originality of this and that intense focus in his eyes . That is where my eye goes to first -then I notice the enticement .
Pullin' up a chair and tossing around bags of crisps/chips for everyone because I don't know about you all but this engaging piece is making me hungry, lol

NAH! But I do have a snack that I think is the British equivalent 'Wotsits' yummmmm..! Dayglow orange puffed up something pertaining to potato....third cousin I think?! Will that do -I think it covers your five a day .

Working on this piece is hard. It makes me really crave Cheetos. The Cheeto in the reference photo is blurry, so I asked my hubby to get some from the store to use as "models." I was able to save one, but my family ate the rest!

I'm still working on the dog and background, but I think the Cheeto looks okay. (???)

For a non- American person what is exactly a Cheeto? Is it a potato chip or similar snack? A cookie?

Kiwi Girl: a Cheeto is a crispy corn snack covered in powdered cheese. Some Cheetos are hard and crunchy like the one in this picture. Others are puffed with air so they have a lighter texture.

the hard and crunchy ones are called NikNaks here in SA. can't remember what the puffy ones are called...don't buy them any more...my kids are big now!

Love those little guys, we have three of them. They are so much company and one is very very smart. Understands too many words. Sometimes we have to spell so he won't get too excited. Great job on your piece. Love it!

Howdy everyone!

I think that I am finished with this piece - unless anyone has some comments or suggestions for changes. Unfortunately, the background isn't photographing well. It looks lighter on the left hand side than it is in real life. Since I did a lot of polishing, the pencil has a high sheen which tends to reflect in the photograph.
