Scavenger Hunt #264 - April 11 - 19
Greetings one and all - well, if you come here often you've pretty much drawn this stuff over and over but still it is enjoyable. So relax and do a little sketching with us.
If you've participated in at least one Scavenger Hunt and have time to host one we would really appreciate it. You can sign up by posting your name on the current hosting schedule in the Art From Life forum here:
http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/show...366347&page=33
Here are the rules for the hunt:
*All items on the list must be sketched from life - not imagination or photo reference.
*Each object you draw can count for only one item on the list, no matter how many shapes/parts/colors that object contains. This was agreed on by unanimous vote among the participants.
*You may place multiple objects together in a drawing or painting, and may count these objects as separate items, but no single object can count for more than one item.
*All items posted must be numbered. Count them as you go. The first item you post will be #1 regardless of its place on the list. Do them in whatever order you wish, but count them in the order in which you sketch them, from 1 to 26.
Do as many or as few of the items as you like. You don't have to finish the entire list to participate. The Scavenger Hunt "week" will last for 9 days, with the next hunt starting on the 9th day.
Please tell us your size, surface, medium, and the amount of time it took you for each sketch. We love hearing about your subjects and setups. Photos of your subjects are welcome.
*** If you have some hunt sketches completed but little time to read/comment, please post your sketches anyways. Commenting is appreciated but not necessary. ***

Nice list Robin. I like challenge 2. What is a transfer truck? And thank you for giving me permission to open the pack of potato chips in the cupboard, I might actually draw one

Yo, Jacqui and Jo - howsit goin' ! I had 3 cups of coffee and think I'll do a bit of sketching
Jacqui - a transfer truck is what you may call a lorry......a diesel that pulls a large trailer - transports goods for stores, department stores etc

Robin - Thanks for the new list!! I think the coffee helps you scribble better. lol Love the scribble sketches, especially the door knob...looks like the kind made of glass. Cute sketch of the corner.
I have two plein air paintings from yesterday that contain a few things for this hunt.
1 - stree lamp - watercolors and ink
2 - car
3 - corner of a building
4 - cloud
5 - bush - watercolors

Hi,
Eye: So glad Iris is well and out of the hospital.
Just posted some of last weeks items for 263 - not sure what I was thinking cause today is the 12th Made good use of time while waiting for husband to have tests at the doctor's office - he is ok - these are done to make sure he is still ok.
Robin: Fun list - I'll try to be on time with my submissions. Love the drawings
Joan: Love the paintings

I just finished my still life for this hunt. I got 15 items in. It was harder this time. I haven't uploaded from my camera yet so will post when I do.

Barbara: Those sketches in the previous Hunt are very nice, esp. the elevator, eye glasses, and ear ring. Thanks for your good vibe to Iris.
J: Can't wait to see your still-life.
