Furry Being

I am participating in the April Monthly class over at the watercolour forum, which is about how to paint/draw fur.
This is watercolour pencils on watercolour paper, about 17x12 cm. Worked over it with Polychromos pencils. Watercolour pencils are the Albrecht Durer ones by Faber-Castell.
Comment and Critique are welcomed!

Re: Furry Being

I love your artwork it is always so vibrant and joyous with colour .
In this country we have a kids tv programme called 'The Treacle People' and they have little furry critters which work down in the Treacle mines -I can't remember what they are called but the second I clapped eyes on your furry friend I thought of them

Re: Furry Being

Thank you, Angela and Ali! "Furry critters which work down in the Treacle Mines" - that must be an interesting scene to paint/draw! Thank you for that inspiration, Ali!

Thanks, Marie! Actually in the beginning of my painting process I was not very convinced that anything good would come out of it. But I thought of it as being a necessary practice and kept on with it...
