Vernal Falls, Yosemite

Well, trying to get back into painting after a few month rest. Took a trip in my RV to many places, and surprisingly, didn't go to Yosemite on that trip. But it is in the plans. Nice to get the paint wet again. This is a watercolor on 140 lb paper and is 27" by 38". Welcome any C & C.

This is great. It almost looks like Yupo paper in some places where you get the paint on the thickest. Nice mixture of textures and colors.

Yorky. .... So agree with that and since it's one of the easier hikes in Yosemite, I think I will put it on my list when I get there.

Trikest .... Not familiar with Yoko paper. And yes, the paint is thick in the rocks and the bright green foreground. Keen observation there, as I didn't think anyone would notice.

Here's another pic for a better sense of scale.

And here is a better view of the thicker paint.
