Well, not yet...but I can see how it could easily happen!
I've now decided to use two ref photos combined in the picture I'm making for Tali. So I guess I'm on plan A version 2.
Hurray for you for putting color on already! I am still in the line drawing phase. I need to get a move on!

Re: Official CP Art Exchange Thread - (SIGN UP HERE!)
Ok...I want tips from George and 'ol Quick Draw on how to work faster! I can't believe you guys are DONE!?!
(By the way, that was an awesome visual aid Pat!).
But seriously...those of you who work quickly...feel free to post in this thread your top 3-5 hints on how you speed up the process. Since we are all up against a deadline, I'm sure a lot of us would be interested to hear about it.
Ali, I've never heard anyone say "Oh my giddy aunt" before! I love it. I'm totally going to use that now. It must be similar the southern U.S. expression "Well I'll be hornswaggled!"
(And you have plenty of time...stop worrying!)

Re: Official CP Art Exchange Thread - (SIGN UP HERE!)
I guess it helps if you did not have a real job to go to and no other obligations to hold you back...just have fun and don't worry about the deadline, a little bit at a time, set times to work on the project and stick to them. The biggest advice I can share is know your limitations and work accordingly. I knew I had to get this done before next week because of the art show, commissions and after that I will be joining the work force again, so my time was going to be real short if I did not get this done.
Just know your strengths and have fun, it is going to be just fine...oh yeah, staying off the computer was probably the hardest part of the swap, WC has a way to find me every time I have to get things done....but I miss so much great art when I'm not on here.

I'm about halfway, balancing what free time I have between this project and my fishy. Doing my best to take this a day at a time, still have another month so no hurry peeps!
"Well I'll be hornswaggled?" That's a new one on me, but then I'm a New Englandah, I'm sure a Bostonian equivalent would be much more direct and very profane!

Re: Official CP Art Exchange Thread - (SIGN UP HERE!)
I am in the midst of producing some watercolors for 2 shows this summer. So when I finished one, I knew I only had so many days to spend on drawing before I had to go back to the paints. Fortunately, the size is small and I AM very fast in colored pencil. So, I chose a subject matter I am really comfortable with, and one I think Donna will like...( )...and completed it in the amount of time I had set aside..only running overtime a little bit...
But, I am a full time artist at the moment, so I have the time to spend unlike many of you...
