Courtyard and fun

Brown and black art pens and watercolor.

This is 12 x 18 Strathmore 140 cp paper. Reference is from photo husband took of (I'm hoping) new home someday.

Imagine the sun coming from the upper right and a building on the right (out of the painting) causing a shadow on the lower right. I poured atmospheric colors first. then painted.

For fun I did a kleideoscope version also in color and grayscale.

Sylvieliu, nice pour! Love the two unusual views, also. IMO, the only nit I have to pick is the darkness and solidness of the tree
largest tree.

You have really come on strong lately--is this what having a husband gone can do for you????? LOL I may have to send mine off for a while.

Lyn

Artmom thanks I will work on that tree. There are less distractions here and I can concentrate better. Also I'm getting lots of photos for future reference!

I keep on keeping on.......being me.

I like both, Sylvielu! The pour worked really well, beautiful colours. Would like to be in that courtyard now

It's a very nice painting--I really like the pink and orange light on the walls and the fountain.

Thank you for looking. I used paintshop pro 7 to do the kaleidoscope from the painting. I used several combinations of blue and yellow to get warm and cool greens.

The painting is a little lighter than my digital camera showed.
