March's showcase
Since we're a smaller group these days - how do you feel about doing a monthly showcase?
I won't be back on the torch until early April so don't expect any pics from me but I'll certainly check in daily to see what y'all post.

Re: March's showcase
Sounds fine to me Ellen.
I'll get the ball rolling. Here are a few sculptural pieces I did just for fun.
The circle at the bottom of each piece is a quarter that I tossed in the picture for scale.

Re: March's showcase
I think that's a wonderful idea, Ellen. I may even learn how to post photos one of these months. I did get a simplier camera, so I've got to work on getting good bead photos. (The easier cameras seem to have all the goodies that only the bigger ones had around 6-8 yrs ago now.)
Carlos, those are wonderful pieces! Have you ever had anyone take a video of you making something like this? I know I would love to watch, as I've always been drawn into that art. Thanks so much for sharing with us!
Happy creating,

Re: March's showcase
Hi Ginger. One of the others took a video of the instructors making a piece. They are still editing it. He says he is going to post it on youtube when he gets it done. When he does I will post the link.

Re: March's showcase
So I didn't get on the torch until 4 p.m. yesterday so I just made a few spacers. I remember when making one spacer was hard and two was nearly impossible... lol...

Re: March's showcase
I agree with Trish, Les. The same size!!! I'm impressed. That rarely happens for me.

Re: March's showcase
Carlos, those are cool!
Leslie, I still find making spacers impossible.
I have two trees to show.
One is a maple and the other is a birch.

Re: March's showcase
Belinda - you get such wonderful depth with your trees. Looks like a 3-D movie.
