Sassybird, please excuse these questions--is this in watercolor or gouache? Are the pink things a flower, a flowering bush, a tree or what? It may be just the time of day when I am viewing this, but I can't figure out what I am seeing!

They are flowers in the foreground. This was done in watercolor, with a lot of use of a liner brush to do the pointilism.

Your foreground flowers are very pretty. The colour in your painting is absolutely vibrant... I am having a little difficulty understanding the perspective... I suspect that my problem may be with the tree on the left... I'm sorry, but I don't have enough experience to offer advice...
