Advice on outdoor print+painting needed

Hi all,

I am about to open a gallery and I want to decorate the front with themes from my paintings. So below is the process. Please let me know of any possible problems, because this is the first time I will be doing it.

I will paint on canvas, photograph it and get it printed on cloth. I know I will lose some resolution, but I have previously printed one for a banner and the fuzzy effect was quite attractive. Once its printed on cloth, I paste it on to the concrete front wall. Then I go over some parts of the print with paint. I was thinking of acrylic. Would that be suitable? If not, what would be good. I expect it to have a life of 2 to 3 years. The gallery is located in Beijing with a fairly dry weather.

Thanks much,
