Thank you, yes I have less to battle with the new pencils. I'm sorry about my cranky reply to your critique earlier in this post, it was late at night here and I was concerned about that area anyway, I need to learn how to have an open ear and mind to suggestions in the future...

Re: Bedtime, WIP.
~35 hours in. The new pencils are great! I want this to go faster but I also want to practice for my next piece in Gold. All excuses aside I'm just slow, and really not in a hurry to finish this piece, I want it right. Her skin is so smooth and she has a lot of wet hair in this photo. Ahh, now I'm making excuses again. Time invested aside I hope you enjoy this piece...

Re: Bedtime, WIP.
Coy this is turning out SUPER! I'm really digging your work with her hair.
You've captured her soft skin as well.
I've been experimenting with new pencils myself. I have not tried the Koh-I-Nor's. I will have to give them a shot. I'm currently going between Mars Staedler Lumagraph pencils and Derwents. I've been toying around with different techniques as well (circulism, taper stroke...etc...).

Re: Bedtime, WIP.
Glad the new pencils are working out Coy. I abandoned the turquoise also (I was hanging on to the 5H but found another openstock) How do you like the Koh-I-Nor's? Perfect technique. You work on this one is inspiring me to slow down some on my next drawing.
This one should def be submitted to any and all exhibitions you hear of.

Thanks so much Tim. I like the new pencils, they seem accurate for hardness and very smooth applying shade to the paper. I especially like how the hardness value for each pencil is on all 6 sides, easily find the pencil you need.
