Les - you know, after I typed the word "indigo" I realized, quite a bit later, it was trans. cobalt. I knew it didn't feel right coming off my fingers but the brain was in slo-mo.

My kiln is finally fixed, thanks to my brother, after so many months that I am hoping to have beads worthy of showing soon. Hoping to light the dusty torch tomorrow.

I have puppy on the brain.

And I have to show my new baby, Parker, he's only 4 weeks old so I have to wait 4 more weeks until he comes home. The wait is killing me!!!

Great fish Carlos and great beads Ellen. Maggie, I would have been stir crazy going without making beads that long. (going nuts is a short trip for me.)

thanks =). He is a mix. His mom is a black golden retriever. His dad a german shepherd? (only known by the makrings on the boys). I think we will do the DNA test on him once we get him home. Either way he is so cute and will be a big, smart, affectionate, dog. =) A friend of the family took in the mom, a rescue dog, to foster her. Well, to her surprise Lexi (mom) had 7 surprise puppies on her bed. No one new she was pregnant. She had been 3 hours from being put down when she was rescued. So they saved 8 dogs that day she was rescued. I'm glad we get a rescue puppy!!

@Trish - I have a rescue puppy from a similar situation. Mama was adopted and then she delivered 15 little ones. She is a black lab and I got the mellow runt.... haha he is now 83 lbs and crazy. But he is so much fun, loveable and my best buddy. In fact, he is laying on my legs/feet keeping me warm.

Trish I like the puppy beads. That is one cute little pup. Just wait until he grows into those paws he has sticking out. I am sure he will be beautiful.

Maggie that fish is about 15 inches long.
