I can see what everyone else likes about this, Sandra. It's unfinished and yet "finished" at the same time. I'm sure it wasn't as easy as it looks, but the drawing has that confident, effortless look about it that really makes it rather special.

Michael ~with thanks I appreciate reading that greatly .... in fact this drawing was realitivly easy for me , Im growing all the time and well I guess constant drawing is all I ever do , if Im not drawing in graphite then Im drawing in paint and mostly from life ...and its all got show in the makeup of how I approach certain drawings ..... I do look at this in all Honesty and see slight flaws so I know whats working and whats not ... but its still all practice ~right ?!

Sandra I agree, I think this is one of your most effective works to date!
I like the contrasts, light/dark hard/soft clear/unresolved... and the emotional content of the expression... the bar is getting higher

Ha ' Mac , you wouldnt think so with the horrible drawing I attemped of nell yesterday from life , but hey we all have crappy Days right?!~ well maybe not so much present company ...but for the most part yes the bar is getting higher and I was very good at high jump as a kid , so I have the goods when needed
