Water Lily and Lotus Blossom

I did this for the April Watercolour Challenge. It took me awhile! Had to figure some things out with the background. I loved the photo reference that Doug found but changed the length of the upper flower to help the composition. Hope it was a good move?



Watercolour on 140 lb Arches Cold Press Block 10X14".
