Great photos this month, Kay! Thank you for hosting for us. There's a little bit of everything, and I've got my eye on a couple already. Have fun in NM!

Re: May Monthly SW/W Challenge

I like the old barn with cows and the sunset. I'm working on a series so I probably won't get to paint them. Nice photos though.

Re: May Monthly SW/W Challenge

I guess I will be first then with a hard charcoal sketch of the wild white fellow in my grunge journal 8.5x5.5 over a vintage book page; the page was partially gessoed.

Re: May Monthly SW/W Challenge

I just love these artworks you do on book pages. This is wonderful, Kay. I thought that wild white horse looked a bit grumpy - I like that you've kept that expression. Well done!

Re: May Monthly SW/W Challenge

Thanks for hosting Kay. New Mexico sounds like fun.
Hope to try the beautiful sky. Maybe we will get some rainy days, otherwise it's hard to spend time at my artwork.

Thanks Jenna and Sanlynn. He let me pet him and from his body and gait he looked to be up in years, very thin.
