old houses

A day out with Urban Sketchers Leicester at the museum. I've always liked these old houses opposite. I sketched the artifacts in the Egyptian Gallery after this but I experimented with drawing them on the ipad as I'd not taken it out plein air. It was good but have to admit I preferred working with the pen and ink.

Pen and wash, which I hope counts as watermedia? plenty of water used the ink forum are more interested in tight drawings than loose so won't post it there.

I can feel the charm of the building from your ink strokes.

Re: old houses

Thank you all

It’s so good that the weather is getting warmer and I may get out with the urban sketchers a bit more.
