Welcome! Please feel free to post your questions, especially you newer members or frequent readers who have not previously posted. The Color Theory and Mixing Moderator is ~JON.

If you are new to WC, here is a link to site-wide FAQs

The Color Theory Team desires to assist you, but we ask that you do a Forum search prior to starting a new thread. Many questions have been asked numerous times and you may find an answer in this manner. The Search this Forum link is located in the upper-right corner, just below the page numbers and above the first post. Please note, this search will automatically restrict itself to the Color Theory Forum.
You can search the entire WC site if you think there might be other references regarding your question by clicking on Search feature just right of center in the middle blue bar. This option is always visible regardless what page you're on, including within a thread.

There is another sticky thread in this forum, Show us your palette colors and tell us why, which has lots of information.

A helpful link

When you have a question regarding a color mixture it helps others if you list the paints you have on hand that might be used as well as the medium.

Posting to lengthy or dated threads
If you are posting for the first time to a long ongoing discussion or one which is dated please read through the entire thread before you post. This is helpful to you and your fellow members.

Finally, please remember that palette choices, and paint brand loyalties are often individual to each person so what works for some people may not work for others, please allow for these individual differences when commenting. Keep remarks topic oriented and not about your fellow members.
