I couldn’t do just one chicken and leave out the other one. LOL!

They are each 9×13 soft pastels on velour paper.

Those are very interesting backgrounds 😮 The colours are very distinct from the colours used on the chickens and make them look vibrant

I would have done the same! The pair goes together very nicely. The luscious colors work perfectly.
