This months theme is Perspective.
Make it something with strong perspective, an obvious vanishing point or extreme foreshortening.
Any subject matter is fine and have fun!

May 2, 2019 at 10:38 am #822065This is for practice and skill building (not for sale or claiming it is original, you might want to give credit to the original artist also.)
So yes copies are fine….all the great artists started by coping!

it’s wonderful, shows all the majesty of the building and from a point of view (impossible), complicated.

May 22, 2019 at 2:54 pm #822073Hello, hope you don’t mind me joining in. I’m slowly getting back into my artwork after a wee hiatus of a couple of years and a recent ‘on location’ course made me remember how much I used to enjoy working with charcoal. This is from that course which was based in our local whisky distillery – great fun as we had access all (except bond warehouses!) areas. It’s the alleyway leading to the malting floor and I was taken by the lines of perspective and the strong contrasts.
Charcoal, about 15″x8″ on heavy cartridge paper
C&C very welcomeC & C always welcome
Cheers, SueMay 22, 2019 at 11:45 pm #822082You are more than welcome to join, Sue. A great charcoal rendering of a scene that makes me want to go and look what’s at the end of it.Well done.
