Thanks Lynda! Getting super busy. Sold four sculptures now and got a commission for a fish for a gentleman in Utah. Looking at expanding into another gallery.
Here's my very latest. Inspired by the Rat Rods and the people who built them. A long time ago, hot rods got too expensive for the common folk with flashy chrome and paint jobs that cost more than the car. These cars wound up only being driven on the weekends and owned by an exclusive club of wealthy individuals. The poor folk would find used parts and a can of spray paint to color their rides. These were the true fans of driving/racing. Their rides were meant to be driven hard and put up wet (to use a horse analogy) The catfish was and maybe to a certain extent still is considered a poor mans fish. A bottom feeding mud fish that in actuality, is tastier than a lot of fish out there.
So in honor of the rat rods, this is Cat Rod. (in rattle-can black of course)
TL/DR: I made a catfish.
