        I have tried to use some composition ideas I’ve read about recently. If you have any ideas, comments at all I welcome them. It is just a quick iPad pic, reference image only.

            Without a better value structure, it’s difficult to critique this work.

            Are those vertical marks in the center of the composition?

                I have such a slow and random internet connection that sometimes I have to abandon the post or post what I have.

                Anyway will try again now … there are columns in the centre created as glass or crystal like bodies.

                    LOL, Virgil I could only get the Master image to post last night, not the tonal one. Still can’t get the master image so have included an Instagram link.

                        Well…in color it’s a fresh and very appealing work, IMO.

                        I enjoy seeing this and the energy and emotion it offers. Congratulations!

                                color or grey, it’s abstract so it’s kind of a ‘do whatever you want’ kind of thing.

                                subjectively, i’m highly distracted by the chip clip

                                compositionally, the diagonal from bottom left to top right both ping pongs the visual interaction

                                compositionally again, you’re stuffing the interesting/dynamic/high contrast bits into corners

                                you’ve got a lot of cool bits going on, but i think you might be trying to cram too many things (5) into one piece. perhaps try three until you get comfortable controlling your compositions.

                                or not, i’m not an expert
