portrait of a homeless man

Hello all! This is my latest drawing done on a Kraft paper using an hb charcoal pencil, a white colored Conté pencil and a vine charcoal stick. This was done from life in a 2 1/2 hour session. The guy drawn is a homeless man, who one of my friends hired to pose for us. I wanted to capture the dignity and at the same time the fragility of this homeless man...he seemed to be very educated and kind.

Comments and critiques are welcomed. Thanks for looking!!

Re: portrait of a homeless man

Thank you, Carol, Ken and Bethany! I appreciate your kind and motivating comments. This homeless man was a very good model, very patient, I´m glad I had the opportunity to draw him. I did another earlier portrait of him, a frontal pose, but I can´t find it! I wish I could to share it with you guys.
