Did you intentionally make her skin yellow fop effect? Normally, skin tones lean towards the pinks and oranges. You have simplified to the point that this is graphic rather than representational. Was that your intent?

i dnt have much experience with colored pencil. this is my first try with that. i really appreciate ur comment will keep that in mind. and the skin tone i used is a shade of brown. light brown. thanx

good bone structure and spacing of the features
keep going, do more, add shoulders to the next, get some arms and legs in there, hands and feet, enjoy the journey, you're off to a good start.

i think pencils are wonderful for layering color, for your next do some experiments with complimentary colors to find browns, so much fun.
