March 23, 2019 at 2:30 pm #802252Wowser. That is a perfect balance of dynamic, loose sketch-work. And what a great source to work from. It makes most life session poses seem… uninspired? I love your outward hard lines. Not too much, but just enough for you to play off when adding colour.

Sketch-BlogMarch 24, 2019 at 4:19 am #802248thanks They are fantastic – Andy (leaning backwards) set up a company of life models – Gymnasia – he’s modelled for quite a few well known artists and did the Royal Academy Live this year and last. Because the models do yoga/are dancers all the poses are incredible. During the moving section we had handstand and splits and all sorts! The colleague who organised it (no tuition, just the opportunity to draw/paint) is hoping to bring them up from London again = fingers crossed!
