Not bad! Your composition is fairly solid.
I would suggest a bit more contrast, such as highlights from the atmosphere of the sky above to help define the fur on the bear's back and head, to help separate it from the background. The fur of the black bear is unique, in that sky light reflects more often than not as the color blue. It gives the sense of a rich black color.
On the other hand...if these are brown bears, you can apply warmer colors and lighter values for the fur on the back and head. I would also use some background cooler colors to poke thru and help define the trees.
