Drying brushes bristle down

Not sure if this will be helpful to anyone or not, but it works

I clean my brushes in the bathroom here in the basement. So to dry them, I just stick the handles in a stack of folded towels and angle them downward. The towels conform nicely to grip the bushes and they don't slip out easily, even with a rather steep angle. I was able to dry over a dozen brushes in a stack of just two or three folded towels.

The the next day when I paint again, I just go in there, fill my brush-tub with water, grab my brushes, and I'm ready to go.

Sounds good as long as they are pointing down.....

I discovered that, for certain sized brushes, if you have an old telephone with a twisty cord, you can string it up and it will "grip" your brushes so that they hang with their tips pointing downward.

Hey thats a good idea.....hmmm will have to hunt one down lol
