Try Using Watercolor in a New Way: Pour a Painting!

In this start-to-finish video workshop, join artist Betsy Dillard Stroud as you learn how to make unique abstract works of art! You'll begin by giving up control and letting the paint do the work as Betsy shares her technique of starting a painting with a watercolor pour. From this chaos of color, you'll use watercolor, gouache, acrylic, stamping, and collage to bring the painting together into a cohesive whole. Along the way, you'll play with glazing, color diffusions, and design, giving yourself the freedom of expression to confidently create. This exercise is challenging, fun, and guaranteed to end with a completely unique painting every time!
