Still working on color mixing for five values and this one was three colors, transparent burnt sienna, yellow green and blue violet. 8×10 acrylic on paper

I’ll work on this a bit more, I think.

I like the colors and also the motif. Enough to look at to get your imagination going: guy with brown trenchcoat in the front, guy with sunglasses in the back …
            I wouldn’t change a thing.
            Regards

Managing the seven contrasts like a master. What a great piece.

I applaud you for attempting this. It’s not an easy project as some would imagine.
Are you working to show five values for each color?
I see the majority of your picture to be mid-values of all your colors.
I don’t see much of the blue violet, except in the muted blue tones in the diagonal.
You are also limiting yourself to lower chroma colors. This does not mean you have to limit your values.
I’m not sure of the color in your darkest objects, is it black?
Do you need white, or maybe could replace it with a very light value of your three main color.
You have a full range of values for your transparent burnt sienna, although the orange looks out of place.

I’m sorry I just realized you didn’t say “C&C are welcome”, since this is a work in progress.
Take the best, and leave the rest.
