Hello everyone,
I was watching ‘Countryfile’, one of my favourite TV programmes, on Sunday evening and there was a topic about sheep farming in Wales. I had my I-phone with me and managed to ‘snap’ a lovely view off the screen. This is my attempt at painting it. The beautiful lush green fields and mountain backdrop made a good picture I thought.
All went reasonably well until I tried to indicate the sheep; now I can’t paint sheep at the best of times and now, with my shaky hand it is well nigh impossible. So you’ll have to take my word for it – they ARE sheep!

JimMarch 20, 2018 at 8:32 am #588225I see sheep. Maybe the ones pulling up the rear could be a little darker/dirtier. Nice painting.

March 20, 2018 at 1:15 pm #588220Hier würde man “Alm-Auftrieb” dazu sagen. Mike, es sieht
prima und nach Schafen aus. Keine Bange, alles wird erkannt! Here one would say “Alm-Auftrieb” lift to it. Mike, it looks great
and for sheep. Don’t worry, everything will be recognized!Ernst

I even see the border collie, but I cannot make out the name on her collar. :wink2:
Keep at it, Mike. Love your paintings!

Frank – I’m worried about your eyesight ….. can’t read the name on the dog’s collar? I think you need your eyes tested!

Rich – I’ve just referred to my painting and, at full size, they DO look exactly like long haired Afghan hounds!
