Re: JUNE Plant Parade (early)

Larry, as I posted earlier. I removed yours for safe keeping as you'd posted before the 'reveal date' - we always show the works from 25th of the month onwards.

I'll comment on all later - busy with mine!

Sandie, beautiful painting as usual.
Caliann, your painting is lovely and has a Japanese feel to it.
Larry, really well done ink drawing. Nice to see a different style here.
Vivian, this is so beautiful, I like the lavender hue.
Bonnie, coming in for a landing. Love the colours and saturation.

Re: JUNE Plant Parade (early)

Shane, nice bright flower against an interesting background.

Christel, lovely soft flowers.

Merri, very nicely done. I like the composition and the way the flowers and graceful leaves stand out.

Sandie, I like your bee making a beeline D) for the flower.

CaliAnn, soft flowers painted in a nice loose style with just a suggestion of background detail.

Kay, love your coneflower and colorful background. The shadow on the stem gives a nice touch too.

Zelda, nice work on both of yours. I can't decide which i like better, the yellow flowers with just a suggestion of detail or the coneflower with lots of detail.

Rundun, nice work on the detail in the center of the flower. Not an easy texture to capture.

Sanlynn, very nice. I especially like the center of the flower.

Larry, very nice. I especially like the one on the right.

Vivien, beautifully done. I especially like the softness of the petals.

Bonnie, very nice. How can the bee resist the gorgeous colors of that flower.

Lil, nice work on both of yours.

Now here's mine. Digitally hand drawn and painted using Artrage.

Anne

Re: JUNE Plant Parade (early)

Viv, wow, I am blown away by this one. Its soft colors are so peaceful with the combo of media used.

Love this bee hovering over his target flower, Bonnie, luscious colors. Nice!

Lil, your acrylics versions of the coneflowers are amazing and so fresh. Second one is my fave.

Anne, so glad you could gift us with this eyecatching beauty! So delicate of a digi!

Re: JUNE Plant Parade (early)

Somehow I missed these:

Larry, a very sharp drawing, thanks for participating.
Imelda, your lovely pink and fuchsia colors go well with the abstract bg.
sanlynn, a smart choice of dark blue for a bg to set the flower itself off well.

Re: JUNE Plant Parade (early)

So sorry I'm late; been on holiday! What lovely work to come back to and enjoy here! A delightful challenge.
Mine is acrylic on paper measuring 15" x 12" and the flowers are from our garden.

Re: JUNE Plant Parade (early)

Also I think I missed Merriweather's warm and inviting floral that is so special! Great work here.

Zelda, somehow did not get to comment on your wonderful floral art or if I did it disappeared. So glad you could join in.

A still life vase of the coneflowers Margaretta reminds me a bit of van Gogh's interior scenes, just so luscious.
