Demo ~ Western Woman

9x12 India ink on vintage book text collaged to wc paper, a faces class demo done this morning. Using a chopstick as a drawing instrument dipped into black ink, lines and shapes were put in to resemble features. I especially liked the straw hat the model wore.
C&C welcome

Kay: Great drawing using your "chopstick"

What a novel process ... goes to show you that one does not need expensive drawing/painting instruments to produce good art -

Such neat stuff, Kay! I love the gesture in this. It feels like she's moving. I like the subtle smile on her face too. Well done!
